Just woke up. The summer was spent in a cave.
Bleary eyed and wintered.
The works continues long into the darkness.
Audio begins to fall into place.
Work from early in the morning, drinking tea to keep the cold from your feet. Have a shower when the test match goes to the lunch interval.
Sometimes you just want to get your head down and get on with something quietly and efficiently.
Didn't learn it then, haven't learnt it now.
Phew. Well after a month or two of slog Undulate is finally ready to enter the world.
I'm off for a beer.
Been very busy doing nothing. Lots of fun with KDE, aRts and lately OpenGL. Results are that we've got an early developers release of Rosegarden 4 (music software) ready to go as well as some half decent progress with Undulate (3d painting proggy).
Sometimes I have to pinch myself. Shiny GUI based applications are all essentially whores but somehow it's now become fun coding them - safely away from the horrors of Xt.
Well the summer had to strike back
When your life becomes just the list. Plate of plates. On the bottom. The hill of the beans. Mess. You don't keep straight. You're not any good to no-one.
Shamed into work I fiddle with sound under Linux. Specifically I play with aRts. It's nice. Just brain problems stopping me from progressing.
All good intention has gone in this wasteland of apathy.
New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
