Notes:
Debian developer, and original author of the PyWX Python plug-in for the open source AOLserver.
During the day I work as a masterful lead developer in the baseline product group of XP Systems, a systems provider focusing on the credit union industry. I write lots of C++ code to process taxes and similar stuff.
I like Python, and hate Tcl, so I wrote the initial cut of PyWX to embed Python in AOLserver to allow server-side scripting. Now a few more people are involved and things are picking up.
I also work on the Debian GNU/Linux distribution. I think it's the best product available, and its non- commercial nature means that it chooses the "right thing to do" over the expediant or marketable thing to do.
Debian is also working to bring out a new product -- the Debian GNU/Hurd. It's similar to a Linux system, except based on the FSF's HURD kernel. It's still not for the faint-of-heart, but it's getting there.

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
