Hah! The book is (yet again) ready to be sent to editors.
Hours of LaTeX hacking and tons of sweat and tears created a
pretty decent looking novel. However, it seems the longer I
wait, the worse the book gets... well, next time I speed
things up so I don't have to go through this 'How could I
write this' phase.
The term paper really is gone! Done with, finito!
The next big problem is to get my butt up in the mornings
and actually try to study that vlsi stuff and the theoretic
computer science stuff. yuk. Oh well can't have everything.
Only five more weeks and I am free! Yes! ( well
unfortunately only if I study the next 5 weeks...)

Yes, the term paper is finished! Some cleanup still required
but...
Dancing, shouting, etc.
While I'm at it: now I am really convinced: applets suck.
Never try to make some disk access or anything like this.
The process of getting the applet certified and getting
people to understand what they have to do (a lot!) to get
all the features... (after all, people are downloading
binaries all the time, right?)
As for the term paper, I don't care too much, that people
(mostly scientists and of those only a very few) have to use
the appletviewer, but try to do this on a homepage. Even if
the applet is cool, none will create certificates and
policies and all that crap...
Seems that Sun was a bit too paranoid... and having
Netscape and M$ add their own flavors to the security stuff
doesn't help at all...
But since this project will probably stay closed, it does
not have a real relevance...

- random thoughts applet (should only take 4 hours...)
- rewrite homepage with scripts
achieved:
- the 1d 2bit ca (on start page, awt prevented the cooler
version :(, see .plan above...
Well, one of these days...
