Well; Not much to post on this one. In all reality this is really just a test of the Drivel Journal Editor for Linux.

So, let's start off at the beginning.

I just recently (as of a couple of hours ago) RE-installed Slackware Linux 10.2 on my laptop. I am currently using KDE with a few simple modifications, I'll post a screen shot later. I don't know why but this time around it seems a lot more friendly, usually I give up using linux once I get it all setup because it's just so much different from my typical windows setup that it would take me a long time to get used to, but I don't feel that way this time, I am really enjoying it. Maybe I can actually continue using linux like I really want to deep down. =)

In a related note, I created my first RAID array in linux today in Networking Class. It wasn't as difficult as I imagined, was fairly simple actually. I used "Red Hat Certified Engineer Linux Study Guide (Fourth Edition)" by Michael Jang as a reference. I'm really impressed with this book, it was well worth the $60 I spent on it, if you need to take the RHCE test, I highly recommend this book as a study guide.

Anyway, I might as well start this first post off with a bang and contribute to the free software community. This is something I recently wrote to fetch the status of a ShoutCAST server, It needs A LOT of improvement but it very functional, I'm going to convert the whole thing into a class soon and make it much most versatile.

And for future notice, I'm going to make a corresponding .phps file to every PHP file I possibly can on my site to donate to the open source community, so if you see a page, and you want to know how it works, add an "s". =)

Any-who... I'm going to be ending this post now, it turned out way longer than I expected but oh well, It's about time I start to tell people what I'm thinking.

Until next time...
