Older blog entries for asleep (starting at number 18)

Havn't been able to update.. been quite busy getting ready for the release of the newest version of my main project @ work...

The Voting has ended... the elephant won the PHP tat contest. (see asleep.net for more info)

I'll update more when I'm not so damn tired...

HA! I'm king of my geekdom!
I'm getting a new tattoo... not only that, but I've chosen the PHP logo as the art focus... not only that but I'm letting others choose the logo!
See asleep.net/tattoo.html for more info.
NOTE: This is what happens when you don't get to code on your side-projects for weeks on end.

(singing)Happy birthday to me... happy birthday to me...(/singing)
Yep, I'm now a 30 year old php-hacker. I guess the good news is that I feel the same as I did a few days ago.
The bad news is... I feel the same as I did a few days ago :)

I'm continuing work on the rewrite of XiteCode and it's moving along nicly.
While working some procedural questions come up like: how should links be handled in news postings, etc. Not sure where to get answers for those questions except trial and error... oh well... back to code.

I'm rewriting XiteCode from the ground up. The new rewrite is codenamed Xenith. (I know... don't say it)

So... hacking away all day and hacking away all night... sounds like a plan to me no?

Here I am... once again ... looking for work. This time I'm in FL.

Got my hair cut... all of it... feels odd... I'll post a picture on the `ol homepage soon.

I've been offline for a month... a WHOLE DAMN MONTH!
I'm back as of the new year.

If anyone reading this is attached or knows a company that would be willing to discuss donating colocation service to our Not-for-profit group (New England Society of Information and Technology) please contact me ASAP.

Connecticut Hackers meet tonight... We are going to be talking about the restructure to NESIT... joy...
But at least we got some hardware to play with. :)
Due to my court case... no comment on the DeCSS ruling ;)

Thanks to Jason @ tigris XiteCode is now in development for it's 1.0 release over @ xitecode.tigris.org.
I'm all sorta excited. I'm proud to be supporting tigris and quite happy to have the tools to develop some bad-ass Free Software.
I posted a couple pics of my kids from last night on my site.

Weee! (makes dancing motions) my XiteCode project has begun it's offical development. I've finally got the CVS cooking and I'm making cleanup's for the inital release of 1.0 (there was a limited release of 2 pre versions already).
FINALLY! Now to figure out where I'm supposed to find other php hackers that want to help out... :)

! Merry Samhain !
