Now that I am hacking Metacity as well, things are getting very interesting. Havoc nailed down the transient and non-transient dialogs misbehaving thing today. (http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=94876). Great stuff from him, no wonder he is one of most respected hackers :-). Also I need to convince Mark that the patches I gave him would solve 100 % CPU hogging of the panel, but that will take some effort. Hmm, still fighting the gnome-pixmap-entry bug about removing the focus from the preview, scaling the image and removing scrollbars. Anders suggested me to use GtkAspectFrame so as to take care of the ascpect ratio as well. Hopefully I should complete it next week. Okay, going back to work now...

Been very lazy to catch up here :/ Well, we are going in for another release...will it ever stop ? I have no clue ;-). The whole team was out last week to a resort and it was good fun. Guess everyone needed that break FWIW. Feeling happy about fixing couple of nice bugs this week in libwnck.

Just wonder all the batting powers of the Indian team was finished for the one-dayers :/ The bowling is giving away in the tests I guess. And all the controversies with the ad agreements between the players and the sponsers, well God save them :/

I think we will meet the deadline tommorow. There was a nasty glib checkin to the cvs head on 4th July. Took some time before we realised that the patches we put in where not the ones screwing up things :/ Fighting a GNOME path problem of two different versions of netscape getting launched, one from panel and another from terminal. Shane is helping to get to the bottom of this. This dude has been a great help :). Just hoping everything goes fine tommorow. Fingers crossed :-)

It's been quite hectic for a while, the stress seems to be getting the better of me. We need to meet a July 9th deadline which seems unreal or probably meaning less w.r.t gnome as such. But if we don't meet it, we don't get the money ;-). Couple of the panel bugs have been tricky. Hoping Mark will finish his multi-head support for the panel soon and nail those ones down. Havoc has still not taken my patch for "activating windows when items are dragged on it". Louie needs to play the devil's advocate. Gman is helping keep our spirits high. Cheers to him for that. gave a fix today for a Trash file problem in libgnome-desktop. Can't believe people don't test code when they write it :/. Mom and Dad are out of town for a wedding, alone at home :( . Hope Hema is not stuck up beyond 10 PM. Need to crash on the bed asap. Looking ahead for good day tommorow.

Was a good day today. Found the cause for some pain the arse crashes in panel. Mark had fixed it already with someother bug. Was looking in to purify binaries built with much earlier sources though.g_free will kill if you misuse it and will not leave any good traces even. Badly raining now, can't move out rightaway :(
