Been a while since i have been here. I was gone for a while because I needed a break from all the juvenile "Linux Rocks, Windozs sucks" fodder. It was getting a bit "played". I am a believer of action, not just words..make a better product, educate the uneducated, share your experiences to move the community forward and let the merit speak...So lets take a look around and see whats happening here!

who am i

I am the "chef cook and bottle washer" for www.slickpenguin.com. Slick Penguin helps folks share their experiences implementing Linux based business solutions with the rest of the Linux community Whew..

Rather than get winded about myself, if you are interested, you can read more about me and Slick Penguin, in a recent article on Linuxmall called "Slick Linux". Michelle Head did a flattering job with the article.

Some additionally tidbits, worked on various platforms as a programmer (mainframes, Unix, Windows, Mac, etc.) in various languages (Ada, lisp, C, C++, VB, Cobol, Assembler, basic, fortran, clipper, PHP, PERL, you get the idea). It all started in grade school once I saw PONG. The rest is the rest.

New Advogato Features

FOAF updates: Trust rankings are now exported, making the data available to other users and websites. An external FOAF URI has been added, allowing users to link to an additional FOAF file.
