Once again updating after quiet some time.
Meanwhile Concepts 2004 is over.

We guided 2 projects this year
1. QuickSilver : Active memory Defragmentation
2. Trinity : Class based resource allocation

Projects guided by us as Dreamz Group won multiple prizes.

We also launched www.dreamzgroup.com as web presence to Dreamz Group.

Lot of other exciting things are underway as well.
Will update sometime as rushing for a party now.

some days back me and Prasad, a friend of mine written a paper about "Test automation using shell scripting"
It seems like International Software Testing Conference 2004 will be publishing it.

Here is the link
shell scripting for test automation

planning to finish some part of evergrowing todo list over the weekend.

I also joined KernelTrap today. Lets see if I can contribute something.

putting an entry after long time. Lot of stuff happened in the mean time.

Firstly as Dreamz group we guided 2 project Active Memory Defragmentation and Trinity:Class based resource allocator, and seems like we are successful as guides.
Both the projects shortlisted at Techfest 2004 in final 7.
Trinity, whome I guided (though officially) won the second prize.
I am kind of happy by performance by both the groups.

On sun 8th we also been to college for shortlising groups for this year projects. Will shortlist the groups in a day or two.

Thats all, as leaving for home.

Updating after a long gap...
Lot of things happened these past few days...

Firstly I joined Wibhu Technologies, a startup in wireless area.

I was in bit hack mood past few days and finally able to release a patch to stabilize the MONITOR mode for the MadWiFi driver.

While at home dad want to migrate to Linux. So I quickly put together a bunch of shell scripts to manage dispensary casepapers named GPFriend.

thats all for now. As i need to get back to work with increasing TODO list. Lets hope I will update diary more frequently.

Hsss... Finally delivered the workshop on " Kernel Hacking : Beginning Linux Kernel Programming". I guess it went pretty well. I uploaded the PPT at my site under docs section.

Still thinking on what next. Planning to code something now.

Today Its finalised that, I am giving a workshop titled "Kernel Hacking : Beginning Linux Kernel Programming"
during Concepts 2003 as a part of "Medha - Seminar and Workshop series" at PICT, Pune.

Its planed on 12th March from 10.am to 1.00am.

I am planning to give a brief idea about kernel, then focus on modular programming, idea about writing system calls and compiling the kernel and proc file system. I guess this will be a good starting point for TE students planning to move to kernel.

Thats the only new thing today.
