Notes: I am a junior at the University of Maryland, and I work for a small software company in Tysons Corner, VA. I am a Linux/ppc developer and also a random kernel hacker. My personal fetish in the kernel is video drivers, I wrote the kernel S3 savage driver, co-wrote the nVidia Riva driver, and contributed to the ATI Rage128 and 3Dfx Voodoo drivers. I also am a member of XFree86. I wrote a little ftp log analyzer utility last year named flog, which I hope to be bringing up to date soon.
Yesterday I got some decent console acceleration for Riva framebuffer driver, so that looks positive. I'll probably wait until a 2.5 tree is cut before adding it though, I think its pretty late to add things to 2.3.
