Dentist in the morning... Then had some sleep. Sold my spare laptop HDD. Also hacked Grisbi a bit - send some patches and also one bugreport. Tults made a few phonecalls, asked about adding a contact form with captcha interface, so I did some hacking to get one working...

We had a little offroad adventure. I almost lost my toes due to the cold :P

Leaving behind all the worries which I have gathered during this summer and autumn, I pack my bag (and leave out my laptop) and move on to seek some snowy adventures.

I'll be back... On Monday. At least I hope so :D

Send a patch to Grisbi-devel mailinglist. This adds support for Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian currencies... It should be in CVS atm...

Eve's birthday party yesterday... She turned 21... :D

Yesterday started with a big surprise - while browsing Planet.g.o discovered that it was the "Evolution UI hacking day". Quickly joined the #evolution and sent my mockup (well, it's not a mockup, but a prototype for an idea...). HPJ and NotZed kinda liked the idea, but as this widget group (select-contact API) will go under a rewrite anyway, the work will be postponed... At first I tried to do it myself, but after looking at the code I quickly gave up :P

School started @ 12.00 with realtime systems lecture. After that I bought a sandwich and went to the library to study for my probability theory colloquium.

Colloquium started at 17.30, it was quite an easy one (but I guess I won't score more than 2 :P). But still when I got home at ~18.00 I was quite exhausted.. Tried to install Ubuntu on one of the mini-atx machines I have, but the monitor I currently have really sucks - it fails to correctly display picture which is bigger than 640x480... So currently both machines are running Seti@home :D

After the Ubuntu failure, I started watching Blender video tutorials while compiling Blender...

Then I tried to tackle my Digital systems coursework... with PHP :D But I suspect it calculates wrong... Unfortunately I was too tired to check into this buggy behavior so I went to bed and got a nice long full-night sleep... To wake up at 6.30 :D Good morning :D

I've been getting all sorts of invitations...

First I got a CRAU4 invitation.. and then Umeet2004. CRAU4 (French demoparty) is on the first weekend of the Christmas holidays and in Paris... Umeet2004 (Fourth International Conference of Unix at Uninet) is online IRC conference from 8-22 december, so I guess I'll be there, besides it's free :D

Tired...

Home again :D

Spent whole yesterday configuring Gentoo-based ADSL router/firewall. Took a while, but at least it's working :D

And I added some ideas to my Linux bits and pieces page. Feel free to send me your ideas/tips :D

Finally found time to set up a new gallery with images from trip to Sõrve peninsula...

Last 5 days on this work...

Tired...

The books I ordered finally arrived today - Mono Developers notebook and Gnome2 Programming manual. They look cool - I've been reading and typing in examples for the whole afternoon (while continuously checking for new letters in my mailboxes).

Only 15 days left of this job and 3 days to my birthday.

[Update] Enough of her....
