Older blog entries for aint (starting at number 2)

I don't use the handle aint much anymore (if at all), time for a new name? It's not that important though.

Once I finish up my current project I hope to attack all my forgotten promises for the PHP project. First on the todo is this doc bug, (using/getting information from outside PHP). The recent changes have made life interesting in this regard:)

I've written a few posts on the subject and will use them for reference (a, b, c, d, e, f). Feel free to email me with ideas. This will be done within 7 days, +-2 as I'll be away this weekend in Walla Walla, Washington.

Did my first commit to phpdoc the other day and it's now online at php.net/strip_tags, Example #1.specifically. I learned a valuable lesson, be sure to know what the output will look like before committing to cvs tree. Silly xml :) Working on the PHP Manual is more fun then php-general or better put, rewarding in a different way ;-)

I'm starting work on phpReview and hope to contribute useful thoughts, words, and code. I'm the only native English speaker on the team so most likely I'll be cleaning up comments and documentation for awhile. I'm okay with this, somebody has to do it and it may as well be me! [update: march 06, 2001 - I've not worked on phpReview for a long time]

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.
