Having had a speech about PHP-GTK at the International PHP Conference in Frankfurt [1] last October, I have had less time to work with PHP-GTK past few month. Since Alan Knowles [2] is now working on a GUI frontent for handling PEAR packages, I got the kick again.

Having written a script [3] yeasterday, that upgrades PHP, PHP-GTK and specific PEAR packages I will try out the new PEAR GUI installer as soon as possible on Windows.

I made myself more clever about diffs of files today. PHP will probably help me to handle the problems to solve. I am heading for an "agent" to get the difference of file- contents. Providing content on the Internet is one thing. But I think providing the links to these contents and giving information on updates is another. To me the latter is more interesting. So, I hope to tell more about this later on.

What a happy day! I just got access to advogato to share some of my thoughts with you. Already for a pretty while, I have been following advogato-articles and others personal diaries and always got some new ideas, on what is going on on this planet; technically, sophistically etc. etc. It is good to be here.

New Advogato Features

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.
