Ugh. In the office until 2.30am. Ugh. How late will it be tonight. Ugh.

Well, let's see. What happened today? Not too much, actually. Work was fairly interested until we had an overly long meeting. Bleh! TUCAN development is coming along fine. It shouldn't be much longer and we'll have something up on Source Forge for you guys.

I also started working on my Gtk+ implementation of TUCAN. I've named it Creation. Yes, its jokingly a cheesy ripoff of the name Evolution. We'll see how well that goes. The Source Forge project is at http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/creation. I'll have something up there shortly, as well. It's rather pointless for me to post it until I get TUCAN uploaded. I will start the webpage, however, and get a screen shot or two for you guys to gaze over.

Oh yes, one more note. Sometimes C++ pisses me off. :-)

Wow. Today was interesting. I spent most of the day hanging out with a buddy from Canada. He's hoping to take a job with the company that I work for. I spent most of the day driving around Irvine trying to help him find the best place to live.

Later on in the day, I headed over to the beach to take some photographs. A few of them turned out very well. I'll post links to the site and thumbnails shortly.

Other than that, I've been spending most of my time finishing up a project at work. It will be on Source Forge soon at http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/tucan. Look for sometime this week.

I'm looking forward to finishing up TUCAN so that I can shift focus of my free time, once again, to GAIM. A big thanks to Eric for keeping everything happy while I've been busy :).

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
