harrisj: I've seen several academic sorts assert that quantum computers will not help with cracking EXPTIME-hard problems, but I haven't seen a proof. Intuitively, they almost certainly won't help with EXPSPACE-hard problems, especially if it turns out that that EXPSPACE != EXPTIME.
