Well... there were some troubles with the feeder upgrade...

I think it's mostly fixed now. There are still some things I don't exactly get with the feeds. For instance, the doc says that if you include the dspoolout info into the dnewfeeds file you don't need a dnntpspool.ctl file anymore. But if it doesn't exist, dnewslink doesn't seem to start at all...

Ah well... enough breaking news... I'll start breaking mail now :)

Perdition seems to have LDAP support. Cool. I'll try that later today...

I need to check out/implement the mail thing in the following order:

  • POP3 proxy (Perdition?)
  • SMTP with Maildir delivery and LDAP support (Exim) [mostly checked]
  • POP3(/IMAP4?) with LDAP authentication (Courier) [checked]
  • Webmail (optional) (Courier? IMP?)
  • SSL/TLS support (optional)

Well... Lots of fun in perspective :)
