Late night / Early morning.

road trip!

SPRING BREAK! *WOO!*

I'm using the time wisely... I'm going to go visit my mother in Georgia while I have time off from school.

It's my first solo road trip. Even though I've been going the same route for years, this is the first time I'll be making the journey by myself. It's a major step in my road to independence, but it's also a cause for worry... my mind races through all the 'what if' scenarios.

I'll be fine, I hope. *knocks on wood*

college-type stuff

Yesterday was the last no-fault drop date. The calculus professor gave each of us our grade as of then, to help us make a decision whether or not to drop.

I am pleased to announce that I have a grade of 97.3 in that class. *whoo* But there's nothing preventing that from going down the crapper if I fall behind.

My professors in chemistry and spanish didn't do that, but I'm fairly sure I'm doing well, given that in chemistry I haven't made a test grade below 90 and all of my lab grades are at least B level. Same applies in spanish.

¿con quien puedo hablar?

Once I get up to Georgia, one of the many things I'm going to do is eat at my favorite Mexican restaurant, Monte Alban. They have the best quesadillas I've ever tasted.

But, since I've been taking some spanish, I can try to order in spanish. Which is strange, since that usually comes around in lesson 16, and I'm in lesson 8. But oh well, I need to learn it anyway, and what better way to impress my mom and brother? Deseo impresar mi madre, mi hermano, y mis amigos. No sé hablar suficiente español.

La profesora Myers has given me a cheat-sheet for using spanish in a restaurant. Hopefully I can turn this into some knowledge on my part.

i'll procrastinate later

Haven't written any new code for ithought yet. I'm basically just a tester right now. Is this a bad thing? Yes. I just haven't really had the time to sit down and analyze the new code, and see where things need to be added.

we'll jump off that bridge when we come to it

I downloaded Bridge Builder. I managed to solve all 15 levels. (Just don't ask me to redo number 15, because I tried reworking the bridge, to lower the cost, and not only did I fail to make another working bridge, I forgot how exactly I did it the first time....

(Update to fix some broken accented characters.)
