Been working on the multi-threaded file transfer. File sending was easy - done in 2 days - thought will have to fix Jeremy's bugs, that weren't visible since the refresh was so slow that you couldn't even see the dialog. Now that you do see the dialog you see the bugs as well. File recieving is harder - took me 4 hours to make it crash where I want ;) In the breaks while working on the file transfer - I've done some other fixes and changes. Added sorting to the contact list, and will fix the vertical applet later. Toastie gave me some todo items, which I'll do later.

Been trying to multi-thread the file tranfer. It seems harder then I thought. Anyway, won't give up untill I'll finish. Too bad Jeremy doesn't want libglade before libglade 0.12 is on most computers, which will be after AprilGNOME realse. Oh, well, I still got the patch waiting. I wonder how well will it apply against GnomeICU 0.94 or 1.0 (whatever will be out then).

Jeremy realsed GnomeICU 0.93 with my patches, along with some others, its a rather nice realse - nothing too intersting, just a couple of nice features.

I'm busy in libgladifing GnomeICU, so far the configuration dialog is gladified. Thanks god for the GNOME UI Squad, since they made the .glade file, which removed a major amount of work from me.

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.
