Unfortunately, there is a problem in popen/pclose which makes the bootstrap program think programs like mount and palo (the bootloader) failed. <p> The rest of the day was 'happily' spent trying to get the perl-5.6.0 debian building. Other than failing half the tests and having libperl.so.5.6.0 segfault on load, everything is fine :-)
