Jacobo is weird. Just look at
his diary!
Yesterday he entered Debian's
New Maintainer system, and
I'm his Application Manager. He should be set for DAM
processing tomorrow, as his Philosophy and Procedures
answers were ok, and his package (some ncurses game) was
very well done too.
After a week, I feel confortable on my old bike again. Now I
know why I've been using it for so long :) But I miss the
other bike. If you're the one who stole it, well, fuck off.
GNU nano's mailing
list is fairly active these days. People are discussing
about adding some new features, like splitting the buffer
screen to edit two files at once, etc. We'll see. I'm
worried we might bloat poor little nano too much.
Someday last week I found out WMBiff's author, Gennady
Belyakov, died 1.5 years ago. I knew something had happened,
he suddenly stopped answering mail. Doing random Google
searches I found a post in an OpenBSD list which confirmed
the news. *sigh*
Slashdot posted a very badly written story about SGI's
layoffs affecting
XFS for Linux
staff. Blah, in the end, only 1 person was affected. You
want to switch to XFS. Really!
I should be heading to bed right now. I have to get up at 11
tomorrow, there are some activities in València against the
BAD (African Bank of Development or whatever the translation
to English is) meeting that is having place here this week.
Ha, the World Bank cancelled the Barcelona meeting, that was
good news too.
Night!
