B L A C K - I C E

Well, its's been some time since i posted here about SkPx, And that well because it was dying a slow death. Altho it has picked up of late.

But I've stuck with it, and as of yesterday made a major overhaul of the site, its graphics and content. Also renamed the project to "black-ice" as the last name was rather lame. This is not much better but its all i could come up with :p

Currently i've had 4788 hits to the site in total, and over 10 shell users and 3 or 4 users that regulary update there sites. I have also constructed a second box that can be used by any of the shell users for more advanced learning, such as IRCd or SQL, it also doubles as a honeypot at times.

Getting regular hits has proven a problem as I have not activly been promoting the site. When I have its been thrown back, with crappy comments. Now the site maybe a heap of steaming turd to the tech community but, the service is there and its vaild so, a few flames are not enough to put me off.

Well i updated a few things on the site lost the crapy colors, so it looks abit more pro now.
Also amended a few things on the server to do with shell users, to make it easyer for them to manage there home pages. And wrote a few txt files, one for the new users as a basic intro to the shell/shells, and another on IP addressing. added 3 others written by other people as well.

As for my last post here im quite pleased with the 128 bits i mean hits =:-). but im still worryed its gonna fall on its face.

Also almost forgot had the site pimped on the radio by DTx and Dj Taiwan ( witch was cool

late and soon, getting and spending,
we lay waste our powers;
Little we see in nature that is ours;
We have given our hearts away."

Well the sites been up since 10/3/05 (officaly) and to say im dissapointed is an understatment...............
Its prob just me but, it dosent seem to be going to well. Not only has the site been plagued from the start with tech problems.
The other guys that were keen to help co-develop slackpunx seemed to lose all intrest and are neva online..... what good is a community without people? its prob all coz its early days still.
Well we'll see how it gose i dont intend to give up easy
