Finaly I was able to realize an old tought. Italo Foppiano at the DTI of my University at last could arrange the realization of a series of GIMP tutorials in the name of my University's LUG.

I started yesterday giving some introduction to layers and beziers curves. Finaly, we were toying with shadowed text. Today we work a little harder and I make them play with channels, bump mapping and again a much more complex shadowed-3D text.

The good thing is that in class I have all kind of students. From people that had never seen a Linux box before to some people from the web designer's staff of the DTI (Direccion de Tecnologias de Informacion). The tutorials will continue until next Monday at least, but if the people is interested enough it could last a couple of days more.

GIMP rocks!.
