Again, did nothing today! lol Yesterday I was unhappy, and I always do nothing when I'm unhappy with something. My fuel is happiness. Tonight I received a really bad news from my okossan, she told me that next month we will get cable tv and wireless internet cut down, and we are moving from this apartment soon. Why? We have made some investments on a english school in another city, and we are kinda without much money, so we gotta save some! Why do I have always such a big problem? First, I'm not working with nothing, second I'm not studying due the lack of responsability, third I don't have any chances with my ex- girlfriend anymore, and now this... I think I'll ocuppy my life saving money, and preparing myself for some big moves, like moving out, studying outside, and so on... In the middle time of that, I'll still contribute with everything that I can, to the community.

I woke up only to write and read e-mail, so I'll be short. Spent all day with a friend playing arcade. King Of Fighters 2000/2001 really rocks. After that I went home, and slept. I'm very unhappy, but this will pass.

Today I woke up late, 3pm, after spending all night at the computer. I completed the chapter 3 of TLM and began chapter 4, in which I wrote 9 sections. I also invited some people to watch over the guide while I'm writing, to give sugestion, warn about errors, and so on... If I continue like this, soon it will be complete! I only need opinions from others, what I should put in or so... Maybe you who is reading this can help? Hehehe, I need some ideas on what to write about basics of Linux, I have much of work done but it's in portuguese, so almost noone can read :D Anyway, good "questions" for me to answer are appreciated.

Back! Now I'm gonna log my development here in advogato! After installing another multi-serial board on an ISP in another city, I got back and begin to re-work in my manual, which is known as The Linux Manual (TLM). I also created a project to it and updated my old project page, Eitchdot.

I don't have a computer of my own, but I'm using my brother's one, which doesn't have Linux. Anyway, I use ssh to use Linux in some other computer, at my old work, or at the ISP, etc. Right now I'm listening to Mercyful Fate, and I finished chapters 1, 2 and 3 of TLM. Re-designed the page (Yes, html/php, because I'm too lazy to get sgml working and learning it). Much of a work for this only night... So I'm gonna make some more chapters tomorrow, I'm tired of typing! @_@

I didn`t post my diary yesterday, so I'm posting from yesterday here too. Today (23 Feb) I didn't do nothing, that's it. Just downloaded some Slayer's music and listening to it... Went to a birthday, but not stayed too long because I was kind bored and depressed. Yeah... I'm depressed...

Worked a lot all day! That's it.

I just don't believe. The problem with those Windows clients is still a problem... Tomorrow I will try more, all day, and hopefully I will get some solution for it. BTW, I have finally configured my Linux box with Internet access and I'm using it now :) Thank god.

These days I will begin testing some other interfaces. I've always using WindowMaker, but it's time to see the others too: so I'm using now GNOME. It is a good desktop, friendly and easy-to-use. And with some themes, GTK+ get pretty good. I'm beggining to love GTK+. There isn't a better Window Manager than WindowMaker, but I love the programs made with GTK+. Next week I will begin using KDE2.

Nothing really interesting happened, so this is it.

Stressed day... Spent all night with the same girl (hihihi). I slept all the morning and woke up 2PM... In the work, I worked a lot on the servers, but with no success. There are two main servers, and one of them is using ipchains to share our link with IP Masquerading. The problem was that the Windows clients weren't working! It's just weird... When I send a icmp echo (ping) to some host, it replys, but when I attempt to connect on some host (for example, ftp or www on some external server), it fails. And it's not a problem in the server, because the Linux clients were sucessfuly working. Spent a lot of hours working on this problem, reviewing the Windows configuration, and it didn't work. I just HATE Windows :( Now I'm home finally, and I will try something tomorrow morning. I thought on a solution: switch the operational system of the clients to Linux! But some guys there didn't like the idea :) But someday... someday...

Laurinha-chan!!! :*

Hau! Completely busy day for me. After talking with a friend of mine all night on the phone, I slept for about 2 hours... From 9 A.M. to 11 A.M. I woke up because my boss called me, with the news that the routers arrived at the company. With this great news, I went to my company and began installing two Linux servers: One for web applications and another to e-mail applications. It went just fine and I'm very happy with our new link here. Linux is really a great system for everything...

I spent all day configuring the Linux servers, and when I finished, I picked up my computer and took my HD. I'm now reinstalling my Linux system because I don't want to use ReiserFS anymore... I made backups of my files, and now I'm putting them back. It is going fine... But I'm still here at work! Very tired, and tomorrow will be another day of full work! I love this :)

Now that I have my computer back, I will surely begin working on something useful for others...! And BTW, can anyone tell me where I change my passphare here at advogato?

Today was a great day! I did not do anything special, but it was good. All day sitted and doing nothing on the Internet. Ahh... There was a good thing at all! Me and some friends began a music marathon. We began listening all albuns from King Diamond. And that's it: 8 hours and 40 minutes of King Diamond's music!

I'm missing a lot my computer... The motherboard is malfunctioning and a new one is on the way. Until that, I have to use this stupid computer from my brother, that only have Windows! Argh! (Why Windows? He only play games)... But with luck, I will get my computer today and finally use Linux! And begin on making useful things.

Ohayou! LONG TIME no see... I have changed in a quite good ways. Let's see what the hell I'm talking about!

  • I'm more mature. Now I'm 17 years old, and I'm happy with this...
  • I don't love anyone anymore. This is good because I don't have to spend time thinking on someone. Instead of this, I just think on doing useful things for an useful world. Yes, I'm talking about Open Source!
  • I'm more addicted to King Diamond and Mercyful Fate... Oh, you don't know them? You should, but King Diamond is like: You love it, or you hate it. In my case, I love his music!
  • I'm trying to go back on my contributions... It's not easy to do this because I'm just stupid, but I'm really trying...
  • I'm letting my hair grow up a lot... Long hair rocks :D
  • I'm reading more things, and doing some philosophy on all things in the human life, specially human feelings. I hope that I will make some documents about this, but not now.
  • I don't depend on anything from now on to live... Oh sorry. I depend on myself!
  • I'm planning on learning Japanese. I love this language!
  • I'm planning on learning to play guitar too.

I think this is a bit of all, it's early morning here at Brazil and I'm kinda tired... So I will do some silly things (like my last post), eat, and go to bed. I don't know if I will keep posting things here but I will try (again). Planning on making a big update on my personal home page and working on some other pages... I'm planning to create a site devoted to my favorite hobby: Anime. And of course, helping Linux pages all around with something that I can do. Wish me good luck. No one reads my diary, but if you're reading this, send me an e-mail telling me what you think, or just to say hello. With this I will know that someone is alive. Oh sorry... My e-mail isn't functional, so send an e-mail to an alternative address. Thanks A LOT! More news later, or tomorrow, or next week, or next month, or next year, or next life... :P
