No entries for a while because I have been trying to secure my place on the International Space Station. I'm going to be the first person to compile a Linux kernel in Space!

How cool is that!

I just need to secure the 10 million dollars required. So if you could send me money, that would be great. It has to be worth it to see Linux compiled in Space!

My train was on time today.

ha ha ha h he he he he ha ha ho ho hoh oh oh o he he he h ha ha haha ah aha.

Sorry. Just a little joke there.

Managed to go for a shite before leaving the house this morning. Much more enjoyable than having to go for a turd at work. You just can't relax at work. I mean, what if a Director walked in and heard you doing a really squelchy fart? Could you still ask for a pay rise? I don't think so.

In other news, I found a site with really old Linux kernels on it and I downloaded one and compiled it.
Oh man, I cracked up! I mean, this one didn't even have USB support!!! Can you imagine?!!! I was rolling around in hysterics. I told a few of my colleagues about it, and they started laughing, too!

Man, we have a right laugh here.

What is the point of this thing? I mean, who would actually be interested in reading it unless they were completely bored out of their skulls?!

Hi to all my readers, BTW. *wave*

I considered porting NetBSD to the Atari Jaguar.
Decided against it.

Man, now I've got the opposite problem. I didn't make a diary entry yesterday because I was too busy on the bog!

My bowel movements are really eating into my Linux kernel compiling time. I'm gonna have to get some sort of trousers with a built-in sanitary unit so I can carry on coding while I take a dump.

On the plus side, I managed to code a perl script which generated a Modula-2 to Forth converter. This, in turn, converted itself to Prolog on-the-fly.

Finally managed a dump. Prune juice really did the trick.

While I was doing the business, I took my laptop with wireless LAN connection and recompiled Apache with PHP support.

Unfortunately I managed to get some turd on the keyboard, so I just got on with the job in hand and did the recompile later on.

Yet to go for a dump. Having a bit of trouble today.

Might have to start drinking prune juice.

Did some Open Source stuff. Really in depth stuff.

Sold it to Microsoft and made a packet.

Downloaded the latest Linux kernel from kernels.org and nearly creamed myself.

It was SO gorgeous, I had to nip to the bog for a few minutes.

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
