It has been a while, but the problem is, that I have no news, because I am unemployed.... :(
It has been a while, but the problem is, that I have no news, because I am unemployed.... :(
This weekend I started on the content of rpg-characters.net and reading on the HP-UX material I got last Thursday. The site will contain fun stuff about RPG. :)
The book about HP-UX seems a little difficult, but I have to if I am going to Heinenken in a few weeks. So, I am going back to work
WORK:
The Project Snow 2.49 starts today and I
am waiting for a new release :) I already backed up my owm
cofuguration files so that I can start with a clean
installation and start "playing" with it.
Sales send my resume to Heineken for a possible job. If
I get it I will let you know. I hope I do :)
Ok, the real project starts on 01-11-2001 at 0900 and is called Snow 2.49. More details can be found on the Project page and on the Snow 2.5 Diary.
I shall keep you Posted.
Well, things are going slow at the moment. Debugging os fun to do, but if you are waiting for a reply, it is a small problem. So I am concentrating on ther minor bugs and some of the fixes.
Ok, I created a page for my activities for the Snow 2.5 Distro. It will be a seperate diary nexto this one. Snow 2.5 should take you there. Have fun.
I am having a litte fun now. I a writing (and perfecting) a very small Shell-Script for the new Snow 2.5 (Snow 2.49 actually) disrto.
The best part is, I am learning some new stuff and practecing what I have learned so far. Joost (the Tecnical Director) is coordinating me, so I can ask questions at him.
The script seems to be working, but I am not sure if it continues to when iit is implemented in the setup-script.
Ok, I have done it. I have installed an Firewall/Router. It is easy now and it is still working. Mostly because my ADSL connection keeps up.
Just wondering:
There is an LPI, but is there any kind of an PI for BSD??
Like I said, just wondering
Help!!!! I failed LPI 101 AGAIN!!!.....:(
New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
