Well another day, another dollar.... I spent some time playing with Net::FTP to automate kernelnotes.org but it is going to take quite a bit of time to do right. I just wish I knew where Linus post's the new kernels so I could grab them from some place other than the kernel.org website. I also need to figure out what to do about the kernelnotes.org server, I don't think my ISP allows web servers but I should check. Here is the information I am planning on including (NOTE: this is a rought list)

  • Kernel Changelogs
  • A Kernel Patch Browser
  • Unofficial Patches
  • ?An archive of the kernel mailing list?

I wonder if there is anything else I should put on there?

    New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
