Chipped away some more at the Mac IIfx SCSI driver today.
Resisted the urge to buy anything at the mall.
In the 'old news' column, I added MySQL support to Red
Hat's 'php' package last month. You will have to make sure
you have MySQL RPMs already installed, download the
php .src.rpm, and rebuild it yourself after uncommenting
the unrelated parts in the php.spec file. If MySQL could
be distributed by Red Hat, this would not be an issue, but
such is the case with 37 different 'open source' flavor
licenses, I suppose.
More 'old news': check out the
Interactive Disassembler. While a little pricy, this
program kicks total ass. It disassembles m68k, x86, 6502,
Java byte-code, etc. etc. etc. I need to re-new my license
so I can harass the poor author to add more Macintosh
support.
Speaking of Macintosh, has anyone ever tried to get
the 'sigcontext' to work with a signal() handler? My
flailing attempts have failed repeatedly. Any pointers
would be great: mail me at
jason@sdi.cluephone.com. Thanks!
