Disconcerting Truth
contempt of Israel for the life of its soldiers and his youth, and its double language
The Israeli government prefers its young soldiers died rather than alive and in good health. French media also, apparently. Israel says itself in war when that arranges it, without wanting for yielding as much with the International Conventions in the event of war.
Why Israel would it have the right to make prisoners in this ``war'' with only one army - this dirty war, like the ``war of Algeria'' or the ``war of Vietnam'' - and not its adversaries ?
But should it be understood that the Israeli leaders who pride themselves to grant so much value to the human lives, prefer the young Israelis whom they send to the breakage-pipe died rather than alive, in good health and ready to be exchanged against Palestinians removed by the Israeli army ?
To date, there are hundreds of Palestinian prisoners who rotted in the prisons and the dungeons of Shin Study Bureau and which did not have and will never have lawsuit. And the Israelis silently resigned themselves to this phenomenon.
The last Israeli whim consists in putting the area at fire and blood to repair the affront which two of its neighbors made him : 3 prisoners! (Israel holds on its side more than 9000 Palestinian prisoners).
Thank the media which take us for imbeciles while delivering us - without complex and in loop - these infamities.

Our Prime Minister will be present at the match Portugal-France. With pitches that it attracts, hope...

SavaJe
A colleague bought Jasper S20 during JavaOne : the first commercial handset to run all applications in Java technology.

I have only the empty box on my desk : the toy makes fury so much that I do not know any more who have it in his possession
    Jasper
A good article on the subject is available here
More recently, I met the SavaJe company. That good technology ; it misses just a grain of opensource :-(
Breathlessness
Our Prime Minister and our soccer national selector should take the same plane for a place far from their concerns

Our president should replug his auditive apparatus to hear the messages of the French people

In the light of the events, all true leader must decide, act, slice or resign

The world of today does not need mediocrity
Kill Bill vol3
A good manager must adopt a positive and active vision of the managed environment. If not, it is more than urgent that it gives its resignation

Team spirit
Message for a colleague who irritates me seriously : sometimes it is worth to close its mouth and to be likely to pass for an idiot, rather than to open it and not leave any doubt on this subject...

I need some freedom in my schedule for idle time ...

iTrade new v0.4 Coca release is here. I'm looking for a co-worker interested by porting this opensource effort to the Nasdaq market (only Euronext is really supported yet). Feel free to contact me.
Basicwork
You need people capable of producing clean, flexible and only-as-complex-as-necessary architecture. You won't get that from an army of code monkeys, even if you hire 1,000,000 of them, even in Bangalore, even in Python.

Do not criticize the design of our software when one sees an organization without design
Rhetorical question ...
I am not trolling and this is not a rhetorical question. I would like to know why developers would choose Perl on a new project ; Python or Ruby for example are more modern scripting languages ?

I'm looking for some scientific arguments for a colleague who still hesitates to change ;-)
