Don't say I didn't do anything for you.
Thanks for providing years of informational articles!
Thanks very much. I was having a look last night and saw that a Dotster page came up instead. Panic! Tried to email Raph but it was returned (no such user). Nice to see the site still going though. Be a shame to lose it because the signal to noise ratio is more favourable than many other places. Thanks again.
Thanks, man. I got a bit scared there for a while ("is THIS the end?").
Wow! I'm really touched. I've been in putting-out-fires mode more or less continuously for the past few weeks, so haven't had time to pay much attention to this site. It's great to know there are people who care.Incidentally, the best way to reach me is <firstname>.<lastname>@gmail.com.
Raph,Ahh. I tried using the email address on your home page (raph[at]acm.org). We'll have to remember the gmail one.
btw - maybe it is a good time to mention that a lot of us really do appreciate Advogato. Even when I stopped posting, I still read the diaries and articles regularly and learned some interesting things. When it disappeared yesterday, it wasn't a nice feeling to think that some shyster might get hold of it. Thanks again quad and thanks raph for keeping it going for all these years.
Advogato is the only weblog site I read with any regularity, and the only one I post to. Thank you, Raph, and thank you Scott. For any of you who post to others, please post the free-software-related bits here too.
Thanks, quad for renewing the domain and thanks, raph for keeping the site alive. I, too, no longer post here but I do often read it and enjoy catching up with folks I know that are still here. Thanks.
FOAF updates: Trust rankings are now exported, making the data available to other users and websites. An external FOAF URI has been added, allowing users to link to an additional FOAF file.
Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.
