This year the UKUUG Linux Developers' Conference returns to Manchester, where stored-program electronic digital computing was born

It takes place at UMIST's Manchester Conference Centre, from midday Friday, 29th June until the afternoon of Sunday, 1st July.

"We are inviting speakers on all types of Linux development to contribute. The programme will cover a variety of subjects, including kernel and desktop development, tools, applications, and networking. Any topic likely to be of interest to Linux developers and enthusiasts will be considered."

See the official Call For Papers for more details; the submission deadline is March 31st

Speakers at previous events have included many famous people, some of whom have their own Advogato accounts.
