USENIX 2013 Flame Award

"The USENIX Lifetime Achievement Award ("The Flame") recognizes and celebrates singular contributions to the UNIX community of both intellectual achievement and service that are not recognized in any other forum."

I wonder if it is good tiding NOW not to restrict singular contribution celebrated by Advanced Computing Systems Association to UNIX but to return to older and simpler computing design principles, like the FORTH dimension , empowering individual programmers across all social domains?

I wonder, besides FORTH dimension, what other forum has paid proper tribute to inventor of a KIND, Charles Moore ?

Butterfly Lab & ASIC chip, posted 14 Oct 2013 at 16:02 UTC by badvogato » (Master)

I ordered two boards from GreenArray Inc. in 2012.

I am sorry to say that I haven't had time to put them to do useful computational work yet. I am more of THE 'consumer' grade user than a 'producer' or 'designer' grade that I hope to become ...

Now I'm wondering if GreenArray Inc can adopt some marketing trick-or-treat scheme like the Butterfly Lab from Kansas City with their ASIC chip selling plans for different go(ld)-richer dreamers?
